1. Tell me about a book fandom of your choice. What do you like most about the canon and/or fanon. Is there a fandom or do you wish there was? Any favorite characters or pairings?
Good Omens. I think that at the moment, that's my favorite book. What I adore about cannon especially but also fandom, is the snarky, ironic, understated humour and the fact that you can keep reading the book over and over again and still find new things to enjoy. Also, there's just so much <i>possibilities</i> in there! ¤_¤
There is a fandom, not huge, it's no Harry Potter or something, but it's there and I think its really nice. haven't gotten very far into it, really. I need to do that... Because I absolutely adore Aziraphale/Crawly (or the other way around) from any type... And, you know, it's just about cannon anyway... Also the Them, grown up or as children, Newt (geeky love)... It's just all so lovely!
2. What's your favorite fairytale and/or character or character type?
I think my favorite character is the princess who is silent for seven years and makes shirts for her brothers, so they can be turned back into humans. She's sweet and loyal and kind of sad, and humbles herself in order to save her loved ones, but in the end, everything does turn out mostly happy. I also love that one of the brothers keeps a wing, for some reason. It fits. Will look up the full fairytale and translate it for you if you want.
3. When/How did you choose your current field of study (did I say that right anyways? =_=;)
Haha I think I was... 15 at the time? I was thinking on what I *really* wanted to study and than I realized that I wanted to help people. I was (and still am) always happy to listen to friends who had problems and try to help them out, and I think I'm pretty good at it, too. More importantly, it makes <i>me</i> happy to be able to be there for them and help them. I'd also seen just what some kids have to go though (courtesy of our fosterkids) and I knew I wanted to help kids like that because man, do they ever need it. I doubted between psychology and pedagogy for a while, but essentially, if you pick child and youth psychology, you can get almost exactly the same jobs as when you pick pedagogy, and I like the study that runs up to it a lot better.
4. Tomorrow it's Father's Day in Finland. What's your relationship with your father like? (hope this isn't too personal to ask?
I... Yeah, it kind of is. Let's suffice by saying it's complicated and very little of it is good. If you want to know more, you're free to ask me on msn.
5. What's your favorite scent?
The air when its just rained. It's clean and earthly and fresh and I love it.

I stole this from someone else, and they didn't even know who made it, so sadly I can't credit. I really, really needed an icon of two people hugging, because I'm a pretty damn huggly person. I also am a vervent Ichigo/Uryuu shipper. I just love the expression of shock on Uryuu's face as Ichigo hugs him... It just works so well...

This is one of those icons that I just NEED. I can be a total, utter, complete geek/dork at times and I'm proud of it, but I can also laugh at my own dorkyness at times. So can Saitoh. You have to love that in a character ;) Also, I think his expression is just so adorable! XD

This is... My petpairing, you could say. Hakkai/Gojyo is pretty much cannon and will have my utter love and devotion no matter what but... These two are just so adorable together! XD They're fresh, fun, cute, open-minded and extroverted. Yeah, they'd drive each other nuts on occasion, but they both have hearts of gold and would take care of each other.

Okies, icons, left row: the default (heart/lock) came from one of my favorite stock images, which I've now lost the original of. I might get a similar tattoo one day. The one of me is, uh, obviously me, with one of my favorite Tori Amos quotes ("If you want me to, boy, I could lie to you"). It's from about two years ago. Then there's Dita von Teese being smoochie with (I believe) Scarlett Johansen.
