Thanks sweety. The thing is, it's a spiral-y thing. If you feel good, others notice, compliment you and want to be/dance/belong with you hence making you feel better. If you feel bad/insecure however, people also notice and don't bother, pity or even avoid you. Noone wants to belong with the grumpy little girl that tries to hide... And of course you notice and feel even worse. Breaking the downwards spiral is the trick, I thing.
It took a lot of work and a lot of trying, but it feels like I've definitely gotten firmly into an upwards spiral lately, moreso than I can ever remember being. It's a happy thing and sometimes still very frail, but it's also an encouraging thought.
