Random Note: Playing nurse is not as easy as it may seem
My second drabble for [community profile] mini_nanowrimo   is going to be a catboy-fic... And this does not, by any chance, have anything to do with the little ball of fur currently purring in my lap.
So yeah, I'm taking care of an injured kitten. He got himself stuck between a shutting door and the wall and now his hind-legs are as good as unusable. The vet says that he's as good as certain going to be able to use one of them properly, but the other is still very much the question. I'm taking care of him until he's all better again... He's a total beauty, and too cute to be true.
If the one who was going to own him (who lives at a farm, which might pose a problem if he isn't completely fit) doesn't want him now, I can have him. My mom said she'll take care of him when I'm in Norway and I can take him with me when I move out after that. Sadly, the student-unit I'll be living in in Oslo doesn't allow pets, so I can't take him... Ah well.

I present you, Frederik (my grandma named him that and I thought Fred was kind of cute... When I get another kitten when I move out - which is already decided as I've always said I'd want two cats when I move out - I'll probably end up calling him or her George).

Awwww!!! He is so precious, and I love you for taking him in and taking care of him! ^___^
Don't worry Ginny-Anne, cats have nine lives and it's true. A few weeks ago one of the stray cats who camps out at our garden (because we feed them LOL) got caught in the motor of a neighbor's car. >.<;;; It was terrible, he mewled so pitifully and of course we had to rescue him - his jaw and his front paw were badly battered and crushed, and for a while we thought he was going to die.

Today he's as frisky as ever, with just a little limp as souvenir from his adventure. ^_^

Haha cool! In the beginning we where afrait we might have to kill it because it seemed like it couldn't use or feel its legs at all, but than one of the legs started moving again so there's hope :D
He's seriously cute, and I was going to be in my room studying all day anyway, and since I wanted to, we figured I'd be the best one to care for it. Besides, I love cats ^^

Oh, he's the cutest little thing ever. He's got such lovely markings too. Hope he manages to recover the use of both his legs (though I believe that they do tend to adapt very well to losing/having reduced use of one).

Yes, isn't he? :D He's cuddly and playful and constantly wants to be touched or be in my lap in the least.
Cats can live very well when they're down one leg, so he'll be ok either way ^-^

some of these posts need a notwork safe for cuteness. That is just too cute!!! I've been a cat person forever but we are a cat free home. Though my daughters have suggested that I could divorce their dad and have a cat at my house. . . I'm not sure how to process that.

He's lucky you are there for him!!!

Haha, he's adorable! Quite needy, but utterly adorable! :D

I'm a total cat-person... I have nothing with dogs, I mean, sure, I'll pet them when they're there, but I wouldn't want one... Same goes for rabbits, fish, etc. The only animal I might like as much are horses, but those are so big and expensive and need so much care... Yup, total cat-person.
Haha and how does your husband think about this? :P Maybe there's somewhere you can keep them without them bothering your husband? I mean, one of our cats has taken up residence in the shed, she doesn't bother anyone ^-^

That would be the most awesome option! ^-^ I mean, after this, I don't think I'll want to part from him... *cuddles her cat*
