Say it with haiku

Random Note: Exam went really wel, I thought I'd barely passed but got an 7.3 out of 10, so that's awesome! :D

[livejournal.com profile] whymzycal had an awesome idea for extra credit for her students; she had them make haikus about the topics of last semester's English classes. It worked out wonderfully and some of the results can be found here. Now haiku's are fun and come easy to me, so I responded with my own haiku's (about being stupid when it comes to English grammar terms) here. Which got me thinking and I came up with this me.

Haikus come easy
And are fun to play games with,
So prompt and recieve.

In other words, give me one or more prompts and I'll write you haiku's about it! :D

Folk dancing! \o/

Or Gojyo as Snow White.

Your icon is love,
That just needed to be said,
Could I steal perchance?

Folkdancing:

Walz:
I trust in his arms
To carry me and guide me
As dance becomes dream

costarquat (or however you write that):
We dance arm in arm,
Jump and hop and throw out legs,
Not tired just yet.

Mazurka:
Soft tones guide movement,
As we dip and flow, so close,
Love for a moment.

Gojyo as Snow White Red:
Stepmom liked him not,
Jien disobeyed, let him go,
Axed a deer instead.

Red fled the forest,
Deep, deep and far away he went.
Met Banri the dwarf.

"Hi ho" Banri said,
"Hi ho, you're looking good!"
"Not for sale, you ass!"

kost ar c'hoad, that's how you write it. Furthermore I love the haikus

Those are AWESOME! I love the dancing ones; they make me feel like I'm right there, gettin' down with you. And the Gojyo-as-Snow-WhiteRed ones are priceless, the last one in particular!

As for the icon, of course! I can't claim any credit for it. I can only claim the good taste of snaffling it. The icon art is by [livejournal.com profile] sarubaby, and the icon itself was made by [livejournal.com profile] nanfoodle. The original icon post is here. This icon is #44.

*hugs* Yay! Thank you so much! I rather like the dancing ones as well... I also finally, finally found a picture of me dancing that would work for an icon. *happy* now to find the time to actually make it!

In the mean while I took three of the icons! They;re so pretty <3

Congratulations on the exam!

Snow falls but rarely,
When it does I am content,
Beautiful white world.

I got your christmas card today! The chocolate is SO good! I shared with my family and they loved it as well! The card is hanging over my desk, being pretty and festive and cheering me up every time I look at it! :D Thank you so much! *glomps*

That is such a cute haiku and so fitting for Belgium, LOL. Although currently it is snowing over here. Yeah!

Hurray! The chocolates are a success! Glad, you and your family liked them. I got the idea when you said Belgium was known for its chocolate. I used to make them a lot when I was little so I'm glad I'm not yet out of practice all those years later.

I also adore your icon!

Well, done on the exam :D

As for a prompt: how about Schuldig? (yes, yes, I'm very predictable indeed).

[identity profile] ginnyvos.livejournal.com 2009-12-30 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
He reads the mindless
He reads the minds for ever more
The never quiet

The trickster he is,
Demon in human disguise,
Eve's snake, Adam's Eve.

No one controls him,
But the man who's shown his worth,
Everything, he owns.

Schuldig is actually great inspiration for anything poetic, odd how those things are. I actually wrote a very poetic piece starring him not so long ago, I might just post it now... Thank you for the inspiration :)

These are great. I especially like the second one (though I now have an amusing mental image of Schuldig and Crowley getting into an argument on the subject of who the best Serpent of Eden was).

[identity profile] ginnyvos.livejournal.com 2010-01-02 08:37 am (UTC)(link)
*giggles* Well that would be your area of expertise! Please don't hold back XD

I came up with the concept of Schu as the snake for this >> http://ginnyvos.livejournal.com/73305.html#cutid1 << if you're interested.

How about you try a haiku for Ken with Nagi???

Hmmm not an easy one, somehow... But good to explore I suppose :)

Black and white oppose,
Have to learn to work as one,
Weakness and strength merge.

Sudden attraction,
Understanding, strange but real,
Never expected.

Still and loud they are,
Social and intelligent,
But both so broken.

Thrust is not easy
Betrayal, they both have seen,
But slowly they learn.

Wow, I actually really like how this came out *surprised* If nothing else, these two will make a very interesting couple that won't run out of things to explore very soon...

[identity profile] stargate27.livejournal.com 2009-12-31 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Awesomely done! Makes me eager to explore those two together and see where it will all lead to! I never realised before how at the same time they're so different yet so alike ... *nods* Yep, it will defenitely become very interesting.

*nods happilly* You're genious to prompt this; while the idea was interesting from the start, I never actually took steps to explore the couple, and it only made me more motivated to get them together.

[identity profile] stargate27.livejournal.com 2010-01-02 02:41 pm (UTC)(link)
You're the genius for coming up with this! And for making me and yourself warm for a possible, future relationship between those two.

Huggles and a Happy 2010
