Fairies and rooms

Random Note: I've got a new imaginary friend; my sister made him for me. His name is Henry and he knows everything!

Hmmm going to spam you with a bunch of pictures! First of all, as promised to [profile] befanini   ; Me as a fairy on the elf fantasy fair two weeks ago:

And me with two of my best friends as a bonus! ^-^

Aren't they awesomely pretty?

Also, I finally got myself a bookcloset! This was neccesary. Very much so. The plank holding my books was full... And than I mean full: as in, there was a row of book from beginning to end, and another row of books on those books. When I was in the process of making room for the closet I decided I'd clean up and change the rest of that wall too and I'm so happy with the result! So I decided If I'd spam you guys with pictures, I'd just as well show you my room too... So here you go! ^-^

The closet in question... Check out all of my manga! The drawing in the frame is made by my friend [profile] h_johanna, who is an amazing artist. It's our characters Silvie (her) and Ginny (me) and a random bit of sillyness... Got it for my birthday! ^-^

My bed and the newly decorated wall... Note plank wich held all of the book it has now, plus all of the ones that are now in the closet. All in all I am suprised it didn't come down. On the wall are a map of Tolkiesn middle earth, another drawing by [profile] h_johanna, an awesome venetian mask I picked up on the elf fantasy fair and a keltic blessing wich is basically just a beautiful tekst.

And... The next wall, this one is next on the list of things that need to be redecorated... Don't believe it's always as tidy as this, that was for the picture and because since I was busy anyway, I thought I could clean this up anyway....

Aaaand the last pic; the other wall is just closets and a door, nothing interesting there.
The painting you see against the heather is mine, I made it two years ago as my exame project for art class in high school. Got me an 8,6 out of 10! ^-^ It's still waiting for me to give it a place on the wall though... But it'll have to wait untill I find the time and motivation to redecorate aforementioned wall.
The huge dreamcatcher is a gift from a good friend of mine... It's so pretty ^-^. Just try to imagine how people in my way too christian little villiage react to my window (pentagram, dreamcatcher, fairies...) it's pretty funny ;)
(I have nothing against christianity, but people should learn to leave others their own believes and not to think less of them because of these own believes... When they can't, it does bother me.)

Short drabble I wrote in the pub last week under influence of a lot of angry music and very little sleep:

You act like you're so awesome,
Gentleman yet cool,
Took care of every single thing,
Left me to play the fool.

You seemed to good to be existing,
Perfect in every single way,
Always the best at everything,
But now I can rightly say;

You may think that you're perfect,
Know all there is to know,
But to me you're nothing,
But a stupid faker freak-show!

Eeeeee you went after all! *glomps GinnyVos faerie* ^___^ But... your wings are so tiny, hun? LOL You and your friends look so pretty, and you look like you enjoyed yourselves a lot. *wishes I had a fantasy fair to go to* *pout*

hee hee hee Your room looks like a very organized version of mine! ^_^ I have "planks" all full of books too, plus bookcases, a tiny dreamcatcher I made myself from a kit I won online. Suncatchers and windchimes too! You should add windchimes to your window as well, and BAH to your neighbors who frown. *sticks tongue out at Anne's puritannical neighbors* LOL

gasp - we really have so much in common! Me and my mom are very passionate about celtic knots and jewelry too; she has a collection of Chinese/Japanese fans of all sizes. I have Saiyuki and Tolkien posters on my walls, and my ceiling is black - I taped black cardboard over it so that even in the daytime I can see the glow-in-the-dark constellations I pasted there, from teeny stars and small moons. ^_-

Thanks for sharing your pics!

p.s. Boy, somebody must've pissed you off in that pub... O_O heh.

Haha yup! ^-^ it was real warm (and than I mean really really warm) and I made sure I had a vest that I could put over it and pants under the skirt (altough I ended up taking both the vest and the pants off because it was so warm). Had an awesome time and was actually put into pictures rather often ^^
Haha my friends ARE pretty, seriously! ^-^ You should come live in holland than (A) Won't hear me complaining! ;)

Hahah don't let looks fool you... it's never that organised... Even now, It's already turning into a mess again XD Haha I have... three dreamcatchers all in all, one abobe my bed, a tiny one above my desk and a huge one at my window. I''m still looking for a pretty windchime though... And they're mostly nice people, just a little... Stuck up... And overly Christian... -_-

I love fans! I'm trying to set a trand *laughs* The things are so pretty and so damn useful! I baught my first one in London two years ago, now I have... three, I think. Heh I didn't make my seiling black because it would make the room too dark and imposing... I don't handle rooms like that too well because I'd go hyper (light case of ADHD).. I do have a whole bunch of glow in the dark stars on it though!

Glad you liked them ^-^

Hahaha no they didn't piss me off... The pub-thing I go too with my friends is a rock-café. This means a lot of angry people shouting out angry music :P Altough I don't generally adore the harder forms of rock, it can be pretty awesome in a place like that. When it's played as hard as there and I'm tired, it's almost meditative (to me anyway). Stuff you've been pushing away for ages just comes up and out and with me that's generally in poetry. Actually, it all started off with the word 'crazy faker freak-show' popping into my head...
My poetry shouldn't be taken litterally most of the time. Often I just take a subject and write about it, while it's something wholly different from that that actually bothers me. Whatever it is exacly that you write, writing stuff down helps I guess :)

Oh my. You make such an adorable fairy. ♥
And your room is super nifty. :3 *envy*

How are you doing, Ginny-love? :]

[identity profile] ginnyvos.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Why thank you ;)

Haha I love my room... It's just so... mine. It's filled with cool stuff and memories and fantasy and dreams... It's kinda my refuge from when life gets to busy and exhausting and I just don't wanna be there for a while :)

And I'm doing pretty much ok... School keeps me busy, so does the rest of rl and on the other side you have online people who demand that I come online often anough but I manage... It''s just... Busy. Cool though, definately cool ^-^
(I just made level 7 bard this midday! yay! ^-^)
