Random Note: Alright, I really, really, really need a dance icon. I do. Remind me to go hunt down a picture... Once I've caught up with the 200 entrees on my friendlist and 6 years worth of pictures in my photo album.

So I'm kind of done waiting for the last pictures from Castlefest and am going to spam you with the pictures I already have. A bit of a disclaimer; non of these are made by me, but they are all either of me or posted on public websites anyway so I figure I can put them in my blog.

So... Months after it's finished, here are the mandatory pictures of the first skirt I made. I got it done back in december but I wasn't quite happy with the way it flowed so I went back and fixed it. Now it's good for normal wear! Espeacially since I found the shirt and necklace to go with it. I'm pretty happy with it all! :D

There. Now I'm allowed to geek out over my current project! ;)

I'm making these really wide three quarter pants. I have relatively dark, subtle jeans fabric (pretty thin as well) and I'm combining it with bright pink threat and buttons. The picture in the magazine isn't in a style I'd wear, but I think that the fabric and my use of threat will make all the difference and I'm really excited about it. With the right shoes and shirt it might be something I could wear when I need to be neat, but with my all stars and other shirts, it'll be pretty cool but still kind of... different?

Inbetween I made another skirt, one specifically made for balfolk, but I have yet to take a good picture of it. It's lovely though, has exactly the effect I wanted it to have. It's funny to see how I've been looking at clothing, fabric, sewing and that kind of thing quite differently from before. Also, I'm starting to understand patterns, how they work, etc. better. That's really important to me, because I eventually want to work to designing my own stuff.

So... What do you guys think? ^___^

Random Note: All I've done for two days is constructing stuff. Now I'm done and tired.

So... I don't quite remember if I rambled about it on here, but I've had a bed in pieces (Ikea stuff, for all my fellow Europeans. Do the US or Canada or wherever have that? Basically you buy big packages and you have to construct your furniture on your own) in the attic for a while now. At first I wanted to wait with setting it up until I'll have a place of my own, but that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon and my patience has ran out.
Also, my desk decided to break down under me (with my laptop on it, no less. Thankfully my baby is unharmed) so I also had to buy a new desk (more ikea, so I had to construct that on my own too). Anyway, I baught the desk I'd been eying for a good while now and I'm SO happy I did.

I basically spend the last two days constructing first my new desk and than my new bed, practically all on my own, and they're DONE! I have a headache, am nausious, feel like I've done hard labour for a week instead of two days and am way tired, but oh god, they're DONE!

For comparison, this is what my room used to look like. The second closet isn't as new (few months old) and the angel sanctuary banner came at around the same time.

Im planning on hanging the AS banner a bit more to the side of my bed and to buy a really big van and hang it above my desk. There will also be a cloth over the little table that now houses my sterio, as soon as I find a suitable one. Otherwise, I'm very content. Also, check out the amount of books I gathered since the last pictures were taken. When I came to live here five years ago, my books made up about half the plank above my bed and nothing more.




This is my bed. It can actually come out as very bulky when you don't put it in the right place (my sister has the same one and the way she'd put it at first it really brought that out. This way it's awesome though! Like a little hole for me to crawl into and sleep. Also love the butterfly blanket and pillow <3 Yay! Butterflies.
You can't see it in the picture, but there are three drawers under the bed. One holds extra blankets and pillows, one holds my shoes (which used to be under my sink. NOT the right place for shoes) and one holds my bags. I have a sewing bag, a sports bag, a laptop bag, and since I didn't have a place to put them, they'd just randomly stand in my room and make the place look a mess. Now they have a place of their own! 
The best thing about this bed though?  You simply pull out the front part (it has weels even though you don't see it) put on an extra matrass, and voila, double bed! :D

I love how it fits really well with my new bed. When I had it up yesterday but didn't have my new bed yet, it just kind of stood out and looked huge, but now it just looks proportionate and really pretty and biiig (it's about 25 to 30 cm bigger than my old one and I LOVE the extra space. Also... Two closets are WONDEFUL. Think of all the space I have extra now! Best though;



The DRAWER. It's a place where I can throw all this stuff that you really want to have close at hand but that'll just be distracting and look like clutter when you put them on your desk <3



Last; the window side. Like I said, the little table (which used to be my nightstand) needs a table cloth. Something white that has either ribbons or lace or both at the bottom, I'd say. Oh, and the big white thing right of it will go.

The remaining wall didn't change, that's still the closets like in the first pictures.

Well...? What do you guys think?

Random Note: I've got a new imaginary friend; my sister made him for me. His name is Henry and he knows everything!

Also, I finally got myself a bookcloset! This was neccesary. Very much so. The plank holding my books was full... And than I mean full: as in, there was a row of book from beginning to end, and another row of books on those books. When I was in the process of making room for the closet I decided I'd clean up and change the rest of that wall too and I'm so happy with the result! So I decided If I'd spam you guys with pictures, I'd just as well show you my room too... So here you go! ^-^


Short drabble I wrote in the pub last week under influence of a lot of angry music and very little sleep:

So.... Basically people asked me to put online some photospam... And I was too lazy to actually go and take pictures of myself... And I didn't feel like it... And I suck at taking pictures of myself... So have some old(er) ones! ^^

Ok, yesterdays Halloweenparty was absolutely great! It was just so cool! I saw a lot of my old friends again and didn't really see how much I missed them before I saw them again yesterday... It was so cewl!
I had to be home at half past 11 but I didn't mind, as happy as I was to just have been there... And now my minute to minute documentation ^^;;;

I was there 20 minutes early, I had come half way by bus and was picked up by Bas's father by the busstop... Bas is the guy who trew the party by the way. It was so sweet of them! Because I had been sick they thaught that I shouldn't bike home late in the evening... And Because I had to get there aswell, they picked me up :) And I could be home half an hour lkater if I was braught by car aswell ;) It was so cewl of them!
I had been busy with my costume all day... I'll put up pictures when they are on the computer aswell... The costume worked out really really well by the way... It looked so cool! ^^ My sister painted my face (she's great at drawing and painting) and I thought of my costume and made it all up... In the end, we where stressing over nothing, as we thought I was going to be fat to late to catch my bus (I chacked at www.9292ov.nl , the site where you can look up busses and stuff...) Appears that they had it wrong, and the bus went 18 minutes later as we thought... But anyway, I got there in time so no harm was done :)

Anyway, when we got at Bas's home, we hung around for a bit. I hadn't seen Bas in ages so we had a loooot of catching up to do... It was fun ^^ After 25 minutes or so, the first of the others who would be coming arived... Sanne, another friend I hadn't seen in ages. The point is that our old group from highschool is totally falling apart... It's such a shame as I like them so much :(
But some of us gratuated, and the ones that did not, where split over several locations of the school... I miss them a lot, specially as I'm not at all that close with the people I'm at school with now... :(
Well a lot of hugging (also with Bas btw) and talking and waiting for the group that was yet to come (they would all come together).
Most of them I had seen less long ago than Sanne and Bas, but still at least 3 weeks ago... That counts for Ilona and Leonie, two sisters and two of the best friends I have... They are sweethearts... I can have so much fun when I'm with them! Just say anything without fearing whether they thing I'm crazy, because they are just as crazy as I am...
It was so great to see all of them again! And sertainly to have them all together... Anyway, we took a lot of pictures, laughed a lot, played around a lot and eated spiders ^^;;; (they where really great... Chokolate eclairs, with drop-strings for legs... they tasted great and where really cewl to the boot ^^;;;
Than we went to watched Nightmare before Christmas (I know all of the songs out of my head, and irritated the others by singing them ^^ Well without sound, but still :P)

Than we had a breack, the smokers went outside to smoke and I stayed inside with Leonie and Ilona and we laughed a lot (specially about a (girl)friend of us who was calling everyone her uke... Come on... 8-) She proberly picked picked that up somewhere without actually knowing precisely what it is... And as Ilona and Leonie are also magor Yaoi and Shounen Ai fans, we had a great laugh about it...

Well than the others came in and we watched The Village... I couldn't watch the end, as I had to go.. That was no fun btw :( The movie was really thrilling... Anyway, I'm going to watch the end of it with Bas sometimes ^^
Bas's dad drove me home (which I'm really thankful for) and... well I had a hard time getting my shmink off, and than went to bed :P

Well it was a great night all together and I'm really happy now! I had some crasy dreams and woke up over 9 hours later (which is a good thing, for me... I usually can't sleep very long) and read some psychology... Than I played some kingdom hearts, had breackfast with the whole family, which was nice for a change... And well, now I'm here ^^
A friend who is slightly depressed just told me that she had a great time as well (at another party) and I'm so happy that she's actually happy for a change!

So overall I'm feeling great for a change... Not hyperactive or whatever, just... well really good :)

en toen even tussenpauze gehad, met ilona en leonie staan kletsen, toen de village gaan kijken... die heb k niet afgezien hijs echt spannend! Heb met bas afgesproken dat we em apart nog eens gaan kijken Naja en toen ben ik naar huis gegaan... Super lief thuis gebracht door bas zn vader en precies op tijd thuis
